It isn’t even Halloween yet but retailers and wholesalers alike look lovingly, wistfully, droolingly towards the green of the Christmas shopping season. Truly it is beginning to look alot like Christmas…. in your store aisles at least. 1. Legos. Yes they have been around forever (created by those crafty Dane back in the 1940s), but little boys … and some girls… look forward to getting the hottest Lego toys every holiday. This year’s Asian sci-fi / fantasy inspired Ninjago Lego series are the toys to keep an eye out for. A fantastic way to a quick sale is to pair one of the Ninjago sets with a discount or a freebie of a starter Lego set or an older (but still very popular) Star Wars Lego Set.

Fads are hardly ever timeless, particularly those amongst children but we here at The Retailers Wholesale Guide were surprised to find a fad we thought only survived through the Christmas season of 2009. With the school year about to begin kids are looking for a way to make their boring school supplies look unique. In the 80′s students did this with decorated trapper keepers, in the 90′s it was binders sporting images of popular celebrities or television shows, and today it’s by decorating their number two pencils with adorable Japanese cartoon animals such as hamsters or kittens.
