A fantastic way to a quick sale is to pair one of the Ninjago sets with a discount or a freebie of a starter Lego set or an older (but still very popular) Star Wars Lego Set.

 Do you remember when Halloween was about children going out at night dressed as various spooks hoping to be rewarded with candy and offering a prank if they were not? Neither do we. These days Halloween is a holiday for young adults to get together and party wearing whatever costume strikes their fancy. Last year the hit movie Avatar swept the nation and costumes themed after it, including the obligatory “sexy” costume, became the biggest craze. However with the current economic climate has dampened fad costumes and 2011 has been short of hit sci-fi or action films for people to wish to emulate.  Video game technology is constantly on the move both metaphorically speaking (the constant changes and developments in the market) as well as literally (the PlayStation 3’s answer to the Wii and XBOX 360’s Kinect known simply as “Move”). However, though home video game consoles’ star continues to rise, many major gaming retailers are saying that it’s time to say sayonara to hand-held video games. With lack luster sales for the PlayStation Portable, the old Nintendo DSLite sales staying slightly afloat, and the gimmicky 3DS performing poorly sings are not looking good for a market that once saved Nintendo from failure.

I believe that two clothing items represent it best: jeggings and Pajama Jeans. Jeggings are spandex pull-on leggings made to look like tight jeans. It’s skinny jeans that don’t require you to actually be skinny. Pajama Jeans are for the even lazier. Gotta go out in public don’t want to bother getting dressed? If you have Pajama Jeans on you can go out in public and fool people into believing you actually got changed that morning while enjoying the comforting feel of pajama pants.

 Apparently athletes aren’t the only ones buying strange so-called “miracle” devices worn on the body. A very popular up and coming pet item is the Thundershirt Dog Anti-Stress Wrap. The Thundershirt is a slightly weighted tight body piece worn on a dogs stomach and chest. It’s manufacturers claim that the gentle pressure that the shirt applies to the dog’s stomach is so soothing that it will eliminate any stress or over excitement misbehavior. A miracle indeed if it actually works. With some reports claiming that the item not only doesn’t resolve the problem but actually amplifies it there is much to be questioned about the Thundershirt.

 Most people remember the twenty year long glory days of the VHS who proudly defeated it’s rival Betamax in 1988. VHS introduced widespread viewing of movies in homes and there was once a time where having a VCR was considered the coolest thing around. But every empire falls eventually and VHS became obsolete with the introduction of the DVD in 1995. It was sleek, compact, high-quality audio as well as visual. You could store your DVDs in your CD case! But DVD came about during a time of create technological advancement. With computer technology rapidly improving the DVD’s lifespan was quickly cut short. These days an item that was new being outdated the next day is rather common place. The DVD faced this with the arrival of Blu-Ray in 2000, created by Sony who had suffered defeat as the makers of Betamax so long ago. But DVDs may have a longer lifespan than their successors as well as many wholesale electronics experts are predicting that due to several factors the Blu-Ray won’t last past 2012.
