All the tragedies going on today have made it even tougher for churches and other religious institutions to fund their charitable causes.  The general public… and even church members feel tapped out.  Yet, these missions are needed more than ever to help feed the poor, bring needed services to the elderly or disabled and so much more.  And of course evangelical missions do not pay for themselves.  Missionaries, whether they are traveling around the globe or to the inner cities of the United States need funding in order to bring their message to the people.  Transportation costs, housing, food and evangelical items such as bibles need to be purchased.  This does not even mention the finances of the up keep of buildings, paying the staff and other practical administrative needs of all religious organizations.
