A Voice from the Market

Many people think that in the age of cellphones, with their built in digital clocks, that watches are passe. But in 2010 watches are in fact no longer considered a practical item but a fashion item. Flipping through the pages of the latest issue of Glamour magazine you’ll find moody models sporting thin leather strapped watches, the face inexplicably always on the inside of her wrist. She doesn’t use it to check the time. It may not even be set correctly. However, that watch is the trendy fashion accessory of the Winter of 2010.
