Do you remember when Halloween was about children going out at night dressed as various spooks hoping to be rewarded with candy and offering a prank if they were not? Neither do we. These days Halloween is a holiday for young adults to get together and party wearing whatever costume strikes their fancy. Last year the hit movie Avatar swept the nation and costumes themed after it, including the obligatory “sexy” costume, became the biggest craze. However with the current economic climate has dampened fad costumes and 2011 has been short of hit sci-fi or action films for people to wish to emulate. Today’s consumer whishes for inexpensive alternative to purchasing a full costume.
